Parking space significantly shapes Munich’s urban landscape and travel behavior. While debates often focus on whether there is too much or too little parking, the questions of where and how should take priority: How can public space be improved while still accommodating people who rely on cars? The master’s thesis can explore measures in existing neighborhoods or new developments—such as expanded parking permit regulations or the introduction of neighborhood parking garages—and examine their potential consequences for different groups of residents.
