Focus Areas
Mahtab is an urban planner, designer, and researcher focused on active mobility user experience, comfort, and urban green infrastructure. Working at the chair of Urban Structure and Transport Planning since May 2022, she is part of the DFG-funded research training group “Urban Green Infrastructure” in which she explores the interplay of UGI with sense of comfort for pedestrians and cyclists through a User eXperience study method. She has a M.Sc. in Urban Design and a B.Sc. in Urban Planning and Design form University of Tehran, Iran.
