PLIMOS final event on the automated shuttle bus in Grafing

Last week, the final event of the research project PLIMOS took place in Grafing. In this project, the Chair of Traffic Engineering and Control together with partners from industry and research (virtualcitySYSTEMS GmbH, CADFEM GmbH, 3D Mapping Solutions GmbH, DB Regio Bus, City of Grafing, TUM Chair of Geoinformatics) deals with the use of highly automated shuttle buses. In the project, the use of such shuttle buses in intermodal public transport was planned, simulated and optimized by our colleagues Roman Engelhardt, Yunfei Zhang and Martin Margreiter on the basis of a three-dimensional digital city model of Grafing.
