Yesterday, our new smart sensor bike from Boréal Bikes joined our chair. This advanced e-bike is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including cameras, 360-degree lidar, cycling behavior sensors, GNSS, and more, making it a powerful tool for our research endeavors.

We are gearing up to embark on real-world experiments utilizing the bike in the research project STADT:up. Our team is enthusiastic about delving into these experiments to find answers to research questions related to cycling behavior, active mobility, and road safety.
