Objectives

- Upon participation, students will have an understanding of the principal driver assistance systems and will be able to analyze and assess such development processes and techniques.

Description

- Motivation, Background and the State of the Technology - Development of the functional system architect based on different relation-based and hierarchy approaches - Methods and approaches to machine perception - Methods for Longitudinal and Lateral control of the vehicle - Vehicle situation analysis and decision making - Navigation: methods and current techniques - Formulation of the Human-Machine-Interaction: Ground concept and current techniques - Advanced driver assistance systems in research and development

Prerequisites

- Knowledge of the Further Maths topics from the Bachelor Control Theory Courses would be advantageous
