In the winter semester 2014/2015 the Institute of Automotive Technology offers once again the possibility to their students to work on projects regarding automobiles and mobility in general. This is done in cooperation with the global industry and the students finalize their work in writing theses.

Truck 2030
After a long break, this year there is again the opportunity to participate in a project in the field of commercial vehicles as part of the global drive. The goal of the project truck 2030 is to develope an innovative, highly efficient concept for future transport of goods by road . As part of the global drive project, therefor one or more detailed solutions are developed and implemented in a scale model.

e-racing motorcycle
The task of this globalDrive project is to build an electrified motorcycle, which then competes in a competition against bikes with combustion engines.
Concept Data:

The project is supported by BMW Motorrad and performed together with the prestigious Tsinghua University (Beijing, China).
