Based on the technical limitations of battery technology the future vehicle concepts have to fulfill the individual and market requirements. For this reason it is necessary to understand the real driving behavior and usage patterns of potential EV customers to identify the target characteristics and the suitable concepts of the electric vehicles.

Within this INI.TUM Project the market-and customer-specific requirements of the future electric vehicles will be identified and analyzed. In this context a data acquisition study of AUDI AG will be scientifically monitored. As a consequence the resulting holistic methodology for customer oriented development of electric vehicle concepts will be designed.
