Syrus Gomari

Syrus Gomari is a PhD candidate at the Technical University of Munich funded by the BMW Group. Syrus was a Junior Consultant at Rupprecht Consult – Forschung & Beratung GmbH until July 2018. He holds a BSc degree in Civil Engineering from De La Salle University – Manila, Philippines and an international MSc degree in Infrastructure Planning with a focus on Transport Planning from University of Stuttgart, Germany. His research focuses on quality assessment, big data analytics, and modelling and simulation of transportation systems. Syrus’ research interests also include topics on intelligent transportation systems (ITS), smart parking, connected and automated vehicles, mobility in megacities, transport policy, and factors affecting cycling behaviour, among many others.
