Christos Katrakazas

Christos Katrakazas is a PostDoc Research Associate at the Technical University of Munich.

Christos received a PhD from Loughborough University (United Kingdom) and a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece. He has worked for about two years, initially as a research assistant and then as a research associate at Loughborough University. In 2014, he was a visiting research student in INRIA, Grenoble, France. His research focuses on autonomous vehicles, road safety, machine learning, traffic microsimulation and Big Data. He has authored peer-reviewed journal and conference publications mostly on the safety assessment of autonomous vehicles as well as real-time collision prediction.
