Dr. Dimitrios Efthymiou

Dimitris is a senior program manager in the Transport Network Planning team of Amazon in EU. He holds a PhD from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, an MSc and DIC in Transport and Business Management from Imperial College and University College London (UCL) and a Diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering from NTUA. He has worked for about two years as Scientific Assistant and Visiting Scholar in École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. His research focuses on spatial econometric models, discrete choice analysis, Integrated Land-Use and Transport models, real estate analysis and sustainable transport systems. He has authored a significant number of papers in international, peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings and book chapters. He has been involved in a number of research and consulting projects in Europe. He is member and friend of several scientific committees in Europe and US, and reviewer for a significant number of scientific journals, conferences and proposals.
