During the UTA symposium, held between September 21st – 23rd at the University of Duisburg-Essen, our colleague Dr. Arkadiusz Drabicki presented results of research investigation into: impacts of sudden public transport disruptions upon passenger travel behaviour, co-authored by Prof. Constantinos Antoniou and the TUM alumni Krishna Puthenpurayil Sreelatha.
Findings of this research underline the challenges posed by everyday transport delays or cancellations, and discuss the ways to improve travel experience and reduce uncertainty in such situations, especially with reliable, dynamic travel information.
