Kickoff for the "Integrated Mobility Concepts" research group

Mobility planning is a cross-sectional task that must be thought of holistically.

With the first research group meeting on 25.02.2022 the research group "Integrated Mobility Concepts" headed by Julia Kinigadner started. In addition to the research group "Accessibility Planning" of Benjamin Büttner, the new research group forms a central building block of the Chair of Urban Structure and Transport Planning.

The focus is on research, teaching and networking activities related to inter- and multimodality, integrated mobility concepts and planning approaches, innovative mobility solutions and livable streetscape design. Appropriately, an episode of the podcast "rethinking.mobility (in 15 minutes)" was published on 24.02.2022, in which Julia talks with Alexander Engel from the University of Wuppertal about the future cluster MCube and innovation potentials of streetscape experiments: https://open.spotify.com/episode/1S8VqNgZXkEsXq242GsUp4?si=29fad31b2e534d6d
