Mohammad Sadrani

Mohammad Sadrani is a Research Associate and a PhD candidate at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

He earned his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and his M.Sc. in Transportation Engineering both from the University of Isfahan. His research mainly focuses on public transportation systems, human mobility patterns, and the application of optimization methods (especially meta-heuristic algorithms) and machine learning techniques in transportation science.

He is currently working on the project of MOnitoring, MOdeling and forecasting MObility patterns (MO3 project) with the aim of extracting human travel patterns from emerging data sources, such as mobile phone data.
