Integrated Mobility Systems
Lead: Florian Dandl, Antonios Tsakarestos, Anke Ye
The research group Integrated Mobility Systems investigates methods, concepts, and technologies to design sustainable, efficient, and user-centric multimodal transportation networks. By bridging public transit, on-demand mobility, and city logistics, the group develops optimization and simulation frameworks that coordinate passenger and freight movements while balancing efficiency, spatial demand, and environmental impact. Key research focuses on market-based demand management instruments, alongside curb management strategies and hybrid transit network operations. Combining agent-based simulations, empirical field studies, and mathematical optimization, the group delivers data-driven solutions for transport authorities, operators, and society.
Research Topics:
Integrated Public Transport Planning
