Ride-Parcel-Pooling

Project description

The project Ride-Parcel-Pooling (RPP) in cooperation with the City of Munich serves to assess the potential of the operational combination of on demand mobility and city logistics. The Chair of Traffic Engineering and Control is investigating when vehicles of a MOD provider could be used for the delivery of parcels within the city in addition to their primary task of transporting passengers. For this purpose, a simulation environment will be set up and different scenarios of operation will be examined.
