π Exciting news from Las Vegas! π
We are happy to announce the victory of our TUM Autonomous Motorsport Team at the Indy Autonomous Challenge! Together with the Chair of Automotive Engineering and the Chair of Automatic Control, our AVS Lab has been working on developing software that can drive fully autonomously at high speeds on the race track ποΈπ¨ After a year of hard work and countless hours spent refining our software, it is incredibly satisfying to see our efforts pay off on the race track.
The journey was challenging, but the commitment of our team was unwavering and played a crucial role in securing this triumph. π
Kudos to the incredible teams from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and Cavalier Autonomous Racing for putting on such exciting races. The competition was fierce and it's an honour to share the track with such talented competitors. π Special thanks to the IAC for the smooth organisation of the event. Their commitment to making the competition run smoothly made the entire experience memorable.
Cheers to teamwork, innovation and the exciting future of autonomous racing! ππ
