New Guest Researcher - Truls Nyberg from KTH Stockholm

The AVS Lab welcomes Truls Nyberg from KTH to TUM. Truls Nyberg is currently a PhD student at Scania Autonomous Transport Solutions and is supervised at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm, Sweden) by Prof. Jana Tumova, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). His research interests focus on situational awareness, risk awareness, decision making and motion planning for autonomous vehicles, in particular on the topic "Risk-aware motion planning for autonomous vehicles with safety specifications". Nyberg holds a Master's degree in Control and Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from Linköping University. Truls will stay at TUM for 2 months and research new path and behavior planners for autonomous vehicles together with us. We are looking forward to our time together here at TUM!
