TUM cordially invites you to discover the latest developments in autonomous driving at IAA MOBILITY 2025 in Munich. From September 9 to 11, 2025, we will be offering an exciting and varied program at our locations at the Munich Exhibition Center and in downtown Munich, daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Our program at a glance
We offer you the opportunity to experience the future of mobility up close at two locations:
1. Open Space in downtown Munich: Visit us at the IAA Citizens Lab and discover our highlights:
2. Indy Autonomous Challenge: Marvel at our autonomous race car from the Indy Autonomous Challenge (IAC), which is setting new standards on the race track with its diverse sensor technology and our software.
3. Expert discussions: Talk to our scientific staff about the latest research and development trends in autonomous driving. Gain an insight into open-source software development.
4. Showrides with EDGAR: Take part in a demonstration ride with EDGAR between Tuesday, September 9, and Thursday, September 11, and experience autonomous driving up close.
Book your slot here for a ride in our autonomous research vehicle EDGAR. During the ride, you will experience live how the system perceives its surroundings and makes decisions. Trained personnel are in the vehicle at all times and can take control of the vehicle at any time.
Details about the show rides:
Start and finish: Between Hall A2 and A3 (see map below).
Duration: 30 minutes per slot, including approximately 15 minutes of driving time.
Route: A varied route through the city, countryside, and on the highway.
Capacity: 2 people per ride.
Dates: Tuesday, September 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday, September 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A valid IAA ticket is required to access the exhibition grounds.
