Jakob Kaths receives the renowned award by heureka foundation that is granted every third year within the HEUREKA conference. With the award the foundation recognizes the distinguished scientific accomplishments made by Jakob Kaths in the area of optimization and decision making in transportation. At this year’s HEUREKA conference he presented his paper “Gemeinsame Optimierung von Schaltzeitpunkten und Fahrzeuggeschwindigkeiten für kooperative Verkehrssysteme – Anwendung für Bevorrechtigung und in Netzen”, which is based on the work carried out within his doctoral research.
