Vita
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Automation at DHBW Mannheim. During my studies, I was an active member of the Formula Student team CURE Mannheim, where I was primarily responsible for autonomous motion planning. Driven by my strong interest in autonomous systems, particularly autonomous vehicles. I pursued a master’s degree in Robotics, Cognition and Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich.
During my master’s program, I worked at DeepDrive in the area of test bench automation, followed by a student position at BMW AG, where I focused on the development of LiDAR sensors. I then completed my master’s thesis at BMW in the field of 3D reconstruction.
Since October 2025, I have been pursuing a PhD in collaboration with an industry partner at the Professorship of Autonomous Vehicle Systems under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Johannes Betz. My research focuses on personalized autonomous driving, with the goal of adapting the driving style of autonomous vehicles to individual end users and dynamically responding to both explicit and implicit user preferences.
