Public Transport in Digital Urban Transformation

The settlement development and mobility of the future in metropolitan regions is sustainable and digitally networked. At regional level, settlement development must in future be even more strongly oriented towards existing and new efficient public transport infrastructures and thus ensure accessibility. In the quarters connected in this way, short distances are the goal, through mixed use, pedestrian and bicycle-friendly design, supplemented by new forms of shared demand-oriented mobility.
The public colloquium "Public transport in the digital transformation of the city" addresses these questions in the context of three expert lectures per semester.
