Teaching
The Professorship for Design and Operation of Public Rail Transport Systems is offering lectures and interactive labs which, on the one hand, provide an extensive overview on the fundamentals of railway operations and logistics, and, on the other hand, introduce advanced methodological concepts in timetabling, capacity planning, and traffic management.
The teaching offer of the chair is continuously growing. We will offer additional courses as the Professorship grows.

Lernziele
The objective is to foster the exchange in railway engineering methodologies and applications scenarios and to provide doctoral and Master's students with the opportunity to improve their understanding of the research field by gaining a broader prespective.
Beschreibung
The RTS Seminar is a weekly seminar, where thesis projects at the Professorship of Rail Transport Systems and research papers resonating with the work of the Chair are discussed. The seminar includes presentations by students and scientific staff affiliated with the chair as well as the discussion of selected research projects and methods, or the exchange with invited speakers.
